Kamers vol Geskenke

Kamers vol Geskenke is one of the most beautiful markets I have ever seen. It is a must visit and maybe you will see my studs as well ;) Below you will find all about the market. The text is a copy and you will find more information on www.kamersvol.com

It all started 10 years ago, when close friends vacated their home and our new business moved in. We started realizing our dream to provide a platform where creative people come together for inspiration, encouragement and support.

Our first Kamers showcased just 40 suppliers and we had 800 excited visitors. Over the past few years, Kamers has grown from strength to strength as people have joined our dream, imparted invaluable wisdom and left indelible footprints. In 2011 our Cape and Pretoria events had 25 000 visitors all together and they are still just as excited about Kamers.

2012 is a monumental year as we celebrate 10 years of Kamers and  wonderful women, their stories, dreams and growth through creativity. We also added a third annual event in Bloemfontein to our calendar and launched our KAMERS Online Store. With some of the Cape’s most beautiful wine farms and Pretoria and Bloemfontein’s most stylish venues providing the backdrop for recent shows, Kamers continues to offer a visual and creative feast for the senses.

Philosophy

Share, Support, Believe

The journey with Kamers as a business has been one of sharing and supporting. We treasure the sisterhood in our team and work hard to offer support on various levels to all our suppliers. We aim to break new ground by innovatively sourcing creative talent and fresh product ideas that are exclusive, creative and retail focused, while offering a nurturing environment and safe space for small businesses to grow.

Kamers is all about bringing creative people together by sharing and collaborating on ideas, supporting each other through honesty, tolerance and understanding, and believing in all of our ability and creative talent.

Pattern Language

The new way to decorate with zig-zags, florals, indigenous prints and dots? All together

Personalise your space by layering patterns and objects from around the world. It's not about clashing but rather connecting - if the colours complement each other, the patterns will harmonise. In our DECO pick'n mix, geometric patterns unite Africa and Arabia; multi-coloured pixels offset exaggerated florals; and traditional pattern is redefined...

NEW Project "CELTIC MANOR GUEST HOUSE & SPA"

Since April 2012 I am working on my new project, the Celtic Manor Guest House & Spa in Gordon's Bay. This beauty is a rough diamond ready to be shaped. Direct situated at the cost of False Bay, I have never seen such a beautiful view out of nearly every corner of the guest house. Below you will find a preview of my work so far before and after. I hope you will like it!

Eat Me Cookieheart Necklaces & Rings

Eat Me, Drink Me! Who does not like being taken to the world of Alice. I love fairy tales and I am happy to be enchanted by them. Not only Alice in Wonderland like munching biscuits, the tales of the Brothers Grimm are full of cookie lovers. I couldn't say "NO" to cookies, so now you can wear my Eat Me Cookie Heart around your neck or you can put it on your finger. Please keep it away from the cookie monster ... it is made out of wood.
